star Cynthia Nixon says she had no experience of women before meeting her wife-to-be, Christine Marinoni.
The actress came out in 2004, two years after she first met education activist Christine.

Cynthia has previously spoken about how close her other two children are to Christine - so much so, that they call her "mummy".
The couple live together with them and Max in New York.
She said: "In terms of sexual orientation I don't really feel I've changed.
I find it offensive to me, but I also find it offensive to all the men I’ve been out with.” Nixon is currently engaged to longtime partner Christine Marinoni, but was previously married to a man for 15 years.
“I think Nixon is using sloppy language to describe her fluidity.
I think she's defining ‘gay’ as a lifestyle, to use the verboten word.
"I had never dated a woman before or even kissed a woman or anything," Cynthia tells the , of her relationship with Christine.
"So when we started seeing each other, Christine kept waiting for the other show to drop, for me to panic about what this would mean – to my career or to myself – as if somehow I just hadn’t noticed that she was a woman." But Cynthia says Christine was reassured after she introduced her to her family: "Then she met my mother and that was when she stopped worrying about it." The couple married in New York City in 2012, less than a year after gay marriage became legal in that state.
