I could delete the widget from the screen and then readd it back, however, this did not resolve the issue. The only thing that seemed to work was restarting the phone.I have a news & weather widget on my Nexus S home screen, set to show the weather for my current location. In its settings, I have it set to update once an hour along with automatic location tracking. We will be more than happy to assist you with any concern that you may have with your device.
If this is a minor system glitch then it can be fixed easily and can be avoided in the future.
There are plenty of fantastic apps available and ready for download like games, weather apps, health related apps, email apps, etc.. Since this issue occurs right after the update, then we are confident that some files are corrupted during the process.
But, the most frustrating scenario is when you try to launch it and it just won’t or an error message appear on screen. The first thing that you can do it is to boot your device in Safe mode, it could be a third party causing the issue.
IMHO, this should be addressed by Samsung and carriers ASAP.
Anyone know what to do if that widget stops working.
