I have the i Phone 4S and luckily it will get the i OS 8 update and it may just be its final update before I go for i Phone 6. Each update is bad for the i Phone 4 because the updates are made for the newer phones released by Apple.
Please don't bother updating that i Phone 4 and enjoy it the way it is. Even i OS 7 was bad for the i Phone 4 and it contained watered down features of i OS 7 for the i Phone 4.
