UPDATE: According to divorce documents obtained by TMZ Monday, Michelle Branch and Teddy Landau have finalized their divorce after nine months. The singer-songwriter will keep her musical compositions, demos, master recordings and royalties, while Teddy will get a Mustang and 2015 GMC truck and some property. Her musical style and influence stem from groups such as Fleetwood Mac and The Beatles, and singers such as Joni Mitchell and Jimi Hendrix. The singer and songwriter is said to be currently dating Chris Null.PHOTOS: Hollywood's most expensive divorces Branch filed citing irreconcilable differences and without a lawyer.
Branch is citing irreconcilable differences as a basis for the divorce, and she is asking the judge for custody of the couple’s 9 year old daughter, Owen Isabelle.
In 2005, she formed the country music duo The Wreckers with friend and fellow musician Jessica Harp, and produced the Grammy-nominated single "Leave the Pieces".
The Wreckers disbanded in 2007 to pursue their respective solo careers.
But that was not so much due to any problems the couple might have had, but because of her family.
Teddy is 19 years older than Michelle and her family had a bit of a problem with that. For all intents and purposes her family seemed to be of the opinion that Michelle shouldn’t marry one of those.
