(updated: July 2011) Ideas I've publicly posted here I'd love to implement myself, but I know I (realistically) don't have enough time and/or resources. While most people keep their ideas secret, I'd prefer someone else implement and benefit from this idea rather than it fade in my head and never happen!“Despite all the odds, you and Dad keep the faith; I climb aboard and begin to breathe independently,” Taylor wrote. I say thanks knowing this resilience will be tested again and again.” Read the letter in its entirety below: Dear Mum, I recently came across a letter you sent one week after my birth.I am the “Baby Taylor (no name yet)” you speak of, “stable but with so many things happening to such a small, little person”.
With many new singles joining daily with conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Learning Difficulties, Spina Bifida, Amputations and Wheelchair Users, we are the premier online disabled dating site.
The idea is for a free networking and dating site specifically for people with intellectual disability/learning difficulties AND their carers.
Originally I thought such a site should be for people with physical disabilities too, however since I had this idea I've noticed quite a few dating sites now exist for physically disabled people, especially those in wheelchairs, however the needs for those with learning difficulties is very different indeed.
But don't just take our word for it, read what some of our ex-singles say in our Disabled Dating Success Stories.
Here at Whispers4u, we pride ourselves on being one of the first, if not the first site of it's kind.
